TrackWell Software has signed an agreement with Føroya Tele for VITAL, TrackWell's Value-added Service Platform (VASP). VITAL offers a wide range of powerful tools for mobile communication. The platform handles connections to the billing system as well as user interfaces through SMS, SIM-Toolkit and WAP. The platform allows Føroya Tele to offer various SMS services to their customers, including messaging, information and entertainment services. In the near future Føroya Tele will probably increase their service offerings towards more advanced services, such as MMS (Multimedia Messaging Services), LBS (Location Based Services) and M-Commerce. Included in the entertainment package are an advanced ringtones and logos handler and several popular SMS games.
