Trackwell has made a formal contract with SeaData to take complete ownership of the company, to include all products and solutions. As a result of this takeover, TrackWell will assume full control of all business activities and oversee the development and service of all associated products, including Fishing Log and Fleet Manager. Furthermore, all employees of SeaData will now be become part of the TrackWell team.

TrackWell specialises in MRM (Mobile Resource Management), which provides our customers with state of the art tools to manage their mobile resources. Through integrating the solutions of SeaData with our own portfolio, we see new opportunities to expand and provide new services to our growing customer base.

TrackWell has a long and established history in the fishing industry, where we have provided our own domestic market with two distinct VMS (Vessel Monitoring System) systems. Our systems not only safeguard the national economy of Iceland, which is based on fishing, but we also provide the Coastguard with a search and rescue system which has saved many lives. Our portfolio of foreign customers includes the Fishery Bodies NAFO and NEAFC, both of whom have selected our VMS system to the cornerstone of their operations.
