Radiolinja launch MyBuddyTracker from TrackWell

February 2003

Radiolinja launched MyBuddyTracker from TrackWell successfully in February. This service has been well accepted by Radiolinja's customers and is good addition to Radiolinja's current offerings of positioning services.

MyBuddyTracker is simple and fun to use, creates a strong sense of community and identity, and combines entertainment and practical value in an attractive mobile application. Teenagers can locate their friends easily, using their mobile phones or the Web. Locations are displayed in a text message or on a map, depending on the user interface.

"It is great to see how well teenagers in Finland have adopted to this service." Said Agust Einarsson CEO of TrackWell Software. He continued, "Radiolinja is already offering TracScape, our fleet management solution, on the Finnish market and we expect that they will offer other location-based services from TrackWell in the near future."
"The positioning data produced by the RL Paikannin brings added value to our customers." Said Vice President Hannu Turunen from Radiolinja.

In Finland the service is called RL Paikannin (Radiolinja Positioner) and registration is at http://paikannin.radiolinja.fi for Radiolinja's customers.
