TrackWell´s
Vessel Monitoring System (VMS) is an application for remote monitoring
of fishing vessels, processing and routing of fisheries reports and
general messaging. It provides real-time graphical updates of vessel
locations on a computerized map, fully automatic routing of position
reports and other messages, based on geographical area or manual selection.
The system supports all required communications with NEAFC (North-East
Atlantic Fisheries Commission), NAFO (Northwest Atlantic Fisheries Organization)
and the common bi-lateral agreements between individual countries. It
supports a variety of satellite communication systems concurrently.
