Marine Signal to represent Trackwell Electronic Logbooks in Canada

Marine Signal Inc. is a Canadian company, based in Newfoundland specializing in sales and service of marine electronics. “We are pleased to offer Trackwell electronic logbook solutions to the Canadian fishing industry” said Nicholas Hynes, Marine Signal Operations Manager. “Our partnering with Trackwell allows us to add expand the range of value added services that we now offer to our customers in the region”

Over the past year, Trackwell has participated in a pilot projects with DFO Newfoundland to develop and meet the requirements for electronic reporting of catches and fishing activity. In addition, Trackwell ERS gives captains and fleet managers a valuable tool to keep track of catch and on-board processing. Electronic Logbooks from Trackwell allow DFO  to more accurately manage, track and allocate valuable fishing resources, in an environmentally responsible manner.
